A Legend Comes To Town

The King is in Starkville!!! Blues legend B.B. King that is!
We are so happy to have an all-time great here!

Tonight at the Lee Hall's Bettersworth Auditorium on Mississippi State University, the legendary blues musician will be taking the stage in front of a SOLD OUT audience. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. The show is part of the 2011-2012 Lyceum Series.

Hits such as "The Thrill is Gone," "Everyday I Have the Blues," and "Payin' the Cost to be the Boss" are sure to be crowd pleasers.

B.B. King was born near Itta Bena on September 16, 1925. Over the span of his career, he has recorded over 50 albums and many classics. He averages about 250 concerts a year all over the world. What an honor to have him in Starkville!

Though the show is sold out, you can still listen to one of his greatest classics, "The Thrill is Gone."
